It’s National Rum Cocktail Day! And we have a rum recipe even Blackbeard would give up his treasure for! 🍹🏝☠️



It’s National Rum Cocktail Day, so what better way to celebrate than pretending your Jack Sparrow sipping on a rum cocktail? Here’s our favourite…Shiver me timbers it’s a good one!

  • 75ml freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 150ml good-quality golden rum
  • 50ml sugar syrup
  • dash of grenadine syrup
  • dash of Angostura bitters
  • Premium Ice Cubes, to serve
  • generous pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
  • 2 thick slices orange to garnish
  • maraschino cherries to garnish

















  1. Pour the juices, rum, sugar syrup, grenadine and Angostura bitters into a large jug and give it a good stir
  2. Pop into the fridge for 1 hr to let the drink (and yourself) chill out
  3. Serve over Premium Ice Cubes, sprinkle over the nutmeg and garnish with an orange slice and maraschino cherry, speared with a cocktail stick.
