Friday 12th December saw The Ice Co employees don their finest Christmas jumpers and get involved with Christmas Jumper Day for Save The Children. By donating £2 and wearing their most festive jumper to work, The Ice Co managed to raise £100 For Save The Children.
So far the event, tag lined with ‘You made the world better with a sweater’ has raised £1,052,018!
On the day there was also a raffle to win great Christmas hampers as well as a cake sale, raising £100 which has been donated to the Oxfam Ebola Crisis Appeal.
The Ice Co takes charity events seriously and has a great team of staff that enjoy raising money for various causes. An annual charity day is held every summer and this year fell at the same time as the Ice Bucket Challenge when, after many nominations, the company thought it was only right to take part in their own #icebucketchallenge and donated a proportion of their profits due to increased ice sales to the MND Association.
