Homemade Caramel Ice Cream

Enjoy this delicious caramel ice cream recipe with a hot pudding or why not serve in a balloon glass as a fancy dessert, simply sprinkle some nuts on top for the finishing touch!

Ingredients

  • x 8 handfuls Crushed Ice
  • x 1 cup Milk
  • x 1 cup Double Cream
  • x 2 dashes Vanilla Essence
  • x 2 measures Caramel Syrup
  • x 1 tbsp Rock Salt
  • x 2 Zip lock bags

Method

  • 1. Pour the milk, cream, vanilla essence & caramel syrup into a zip lock bag then seal.
  • 2. Into another zip lock bag add crushed ice and a table spoon of rock salt.
  • 3. Place the sealed bag of ingredients into the bag of ice and salt, seal and roll around for 2 minutes until the ice cream starts to get thicker. Continue until the consistency is as thick as you desire, then remove and serve.
