The Ice Co’s 5 Favourite Summer Punches.

Summer with The Ice Co couldn’t be better…we’re experts at keeping drinks cold so when the sun is shining, leave the refreshments to us, whilst you concentrate on the BBQ! And with that in mind here’s our top 5 summer punch recipes…

Top tip…more ice the better!


Moscato Punch

Bring the sweet taste of Italy direct to your back garden.


x 3 handfuls of Party Ice

x 1 & 1/2 bottles of Moscato wine

x 1 lime

x 1 handful of strawberries

Top up: Soda water

Method: Cut the lime into slices and the strawberries in half and add to a jug. Add the ice and pour in the Moscato wine, then top up with soda water and stir. Serve in large wine glasses with a strawberry and lime garnish.

French 75 Punch

A classic if you’re looking to bring some class to your next get together. Or if you’re doing it on a budget, replace the champagne with sparkling wine, the guests will never know!


x 2 handfuls of Super Cubes

x 2 cups of gin

x 1 cup of lemon juice

x 3/4 cup of sugar syrup

x 1/2 teaspoon of orange bitters

Top up: Champagne

Garnish: Orange wheels

Method: Add the ice, gin, lemon juice, syrup and orange bitters to a punch bowl and stir. Top up with champagne or sparkling wine.

Watermelon Breeze (non-alcoholic)

A refreshing summer drink for you and the kids. It’s nourishing and healthy and will be just what you need after a long hot day.


x 2 handfuls of Party Ice

x 1 whole watermelon

x 1 fresh lime

x 2 handfuls of mint

Top up: Coconut water

Method: Cut the watermelon in half and scoop out the pink juicy melon. Cut the melon into chunks and add to a blender. Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice into the blender then add the mint and give a quick whiz. Pour into a jug along with the ice and then top up with coconut water. Give a quick stir and pour into ice filled glasses to serve.



A simple, easy to serve up sangria recipe. It will leave them wanting more…


x 2 handfuls of Party Ice

x 1 bottle of red wine

x 1 cup of orange juice

x 2 cups of lemonade

x 1 handful of fresh mint

x 2 oranges

x 2 lemons

Method: Cut the oranges and lemons into slices and add to a jug. Add the ice and pour in the red wine until the jug is half full. Pour in the lemonade and orange juice and stir. Place the mint on top and the Sangria is ready!


Berry Punch

Fruity and delicious! Just add your desired spirit to make it an alcohol version.


x 3 handfuls of Party Ice

x 1 handful of blueberries

x 1 handful of raspberries

x 2 handfuls of strawberries

x 2 cups of cranberry juice

x 2 cups of grapefruit juice

x 1 lime

Top up: Lemonade

MethodCut the strawberries in half and add to a punch bowl. Add the blueberries and raspberries and ice. Add both juices and stir. Cut the lime into slices and place into the bowl. Top up with lemonade and serve. Why not try serving in jam jars or cocktail glasses?
